Firstly, when you think regarding the Philippines, the things that appear in your brain are often amazing islands, a place to have a nice holiday and gorgeous women of all ages.
Having really journeyed to the Philippines and getting to appreciate the place as well as the natives, I’ve had the opportunity to dig deeper within their society and "under the hood" of the so-called incredible islands.
The results were not so competent. The way persons are treated and the degree of corrupcy in this particular country is just too much. I will not get into the political issues but I am going to go over the thing that annoyed me the most: the online adult chat industry.
On another aspect, Did you know that even
Philippines sex chat is forbidden right now there?Yup, a Filipina can’t even talk “dirty” or just about sex from there. There’s an actual law that declares this fact. I personally believe that this is gibberish and how they're constraining people’s rights is just unreasonable.
To start with, there’s prostitution that obviously is against the law. But did you know that prostitution is actually well accepted and practiced? Corruption permits this but let's not jump into that.
In earlier times, when the US still had military bases in the Philippines, many such bars and clubs which endorsed prostitution were found. Currently, due to the poverty and corrupcy, they’re mainly gone.At this time, the few that are left are mostly for travelers wanting to have affordable sex and also with those under 18. And that’s just not normal.
Thus, prostitution is against the law but is still practiced, ergo webcams must be illegal but accepted, correct? Well, only if you pay a certain price. And believe me, you will need to bribe on a handful of levels, from law enforcement officials to mayors. As an example, a friend of mine from the United States launched a Filipino sex chat firm there and kept business going quite well, not surprisingly, by having a “good relationship” with the mayor. One day it occured that the mayor was changed with somebody he couldn't get things straight. This of course meaning that he desired much more money... my good friend didn't agree and so they busted him, he spent many years in jail plus the mayor took over his business.
This kind of business established in Philippines is worth, indeed, a lot of cash but too risky. Currently, many of these cam companies continue to be active and earn money. The Filipinas are worthy of the money, why not, but it's kind of messed up to find out where a huge part of that money is heading. Needless to say, that's nothing new under the sun in any other nation, but in these type of countries it's more serious.
I entirely concur with forbidding prostitution, but
filipino sex chat is a thing completely different; after all, it’s only a lady satisfying herself in front of a cam, no illnesses no nothing.
What I'm saying is that there is not a lot they are able to do with the circumstances in the Philippines that are getting worse as we're talking. Trying to be revolutionary isn't in fact the nature of the filipinos so it would probably be only for the United Nations to intervene. And that is not really achievable as many of the troubles are not visible.
